Sylmar was remodeled, expanded, and a two-bedroom ADU was created in the garage. The property was unique because there was an unpermitted, walled-in sunroom behind the garage. This gave us the opportunity to expand the garage by approximately 300 square feet, allowing for a second bedroom for the ADU and a dining room for the house. In addition to building the ADU, renovations in the house included new floors, updates to the bathrooms and kitchen, as well as a new roof, HVAC system and plumbing. Construction took approximately four months. The length of the project from purchase to sale was six months.
